The Lifestyle Medicine National Training Initiative (NTI) supports the development of a nationwide lifestyle medicine-trained workforce within Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs).
For every dollar invested in training an eligible primary care provider, ACLM and ABLM will match 50% of the cost (up to $1673.) This matching support helps reduce financial barriers, making it easier than ever for clinicians on the front lines to access this transformative education and training.
In addition to training and certification in lifestyle medicine, NTI participants will gain access to a Health Center Learning Collaborative (HCLC). The HCLC will support their educational and lifestyle medicine clinic-wide implementation journey.
Eligible clinicians who are interested in joining the NTI are asked to submit a formal application.
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Scholarship recipients must take the certification exam in the year they are awarded.

The scholarship covers 50% of the costs for the required lifestyle medicine certification prerequisites and the certification exam fees:
*The non-refundable exam registration fee ($299 for MDs/DOs and $199 for NPs/PAs) required by the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine (ABLM) is not covered by the scholarship.
ACLM and ABLM will cover up to $1,673 of total $3,347 retail cost.
